Just a short note to say thanks to you and Dijana, Tiho and Bruno and the rest of the GC team for your recent assistance with our event in Istria.

The teams support, patience, commitment and enthusiasm during the launch of the new Continental GTC helped make the event a great success and I never doubted it would all go well when your team were on site.

Please would you pass on a special thank you to Tihomir for all his assistance in the build-up to the event and while we were live. His knowledge of locations in regards to roads, restaurants as well as his connections and ability to source random items made him invaluable.

At the same time please can you pass on my thanks to the various restaurants we used on route and especially to Chef Tom for his continued great cooking both at the hotel Montel Mulini and in the Villa.

I look forward to working with the GC team again in the future. All the best.

It is very hard for me to find the right words to thank each and every one of you for the hard work and dedication that you put in to make this event a roaring success. From proposals, to cost files, to your onsite support and management...I really appreciate your precision and am grateful to you for keeping Michael's feet on the floor when they needed to be!!

Diana - "my angel". I'm going to miss you the most. Thank you for making Michael's ideas and promises happen - this was by no means an easy job!! I am so grateful to you for all of the blood, sweat and tears that you put into making this event. I can only begin to imagine the work that you had to do to make sure you delivered everything that you said you would. I love your energy - it never faltered and it puts me to shame. I knew I could always rely on your positivity and to put a smile on my face.

Nikolina - Thank you for the support that you not only gave to your team but to mine as well. It really was invaluable and without you we wouldn't have got there!!

Maro - I needn't have worried as much as I did. The transfers and activities ran like clock-work. I learnt with you that if I asked it would be done - quickly and efficiently and without having to ask again. Your attention to detail is amazing and it was great to work with you. Thank you also for putting together Miranda's itinerary. This wasn't an easy job and something we haven't done in years gone by but it meant that we captured some fantastic memories for our winners and their guests.

Tatjana - Thank you for managing the hotel... Hotel Bellevue was a key aspect of this event and we had to make sure that we got it right. Having you as our liaison was crucial to making this event a success and thanks to your help we have achieved that.

Marcela - Last but by no means least! Thank you for assisting us with this event also. I know that you were responsible for overseeing many of the trip's elements and I'm very thankful to you. In particular I would like to thank you for your support with Marie at the Hotel on Saturday. I was reassured to know that you were by her side and helping her in my team's absence.

I would recommend your company without hesitation to colleagues and industry partners. Your solutions, personalities and more importantly the care that was taken, shown and put in make you stand out. My next DMC has a lot to live up to! I would also like to take this opportunity to point out that not only did you stand out to us but to our guests as well.

The event was much appreciated by the participants (I received many very positive reactions) and I am sure that there are various colleagues that will certainly consider Dubrovnik/Global Connect for a next meeting.

Transportation from airport to Hotel was perfect: most people had checked-in within an hour after arrival and this was much appreciated. Of course the City of Dubrovnik is beautiful, so the people also enjoyed that a lot and they took advantage of the various offers provided to do tours on their free afternoon.

Dear Ryan

After these 2 unforgettable days in Dubrovnik, I'd like to thank you as well as the whole Global Connect Team in my name but also in the name of all participants as you did a great job !

Everything went well, including the weather, which was my biggest worry. We all enjoyed the first day on the sea ! This was absolutely fantastic ! We all agree : the Island Recon Mission is an excellent activity to discover the Croatian coast. The mixture of challenge, fun, sun and time at leisure was perfect.

The second day program was also good balanced, with an interesting guided tour of the Old Town, a wine tasting in a magnificent palace, a very fine lunch on a private terrace and again some time at leisure.

We all would have stayed much longer ... Dubrovnik enchanted us, and I'm sure that several participants will come back soon with their family.

I worked with Global connect on an event in June for a client's graduation trip for 160 people. I initially contacted Global connect in April and received an immediate response from Ryan advising me he was onto it. Due to the late notice of the request and the size of the group, I was almost certain I would not be able to find anywhere decent to accommodate them. However, Ryan managed to come up with a fantastic option on the up-and-coming island of Hvar. Although it was over budget, my client was so impressed with the proposal they decided to go with it over the other 3 destinations put forward.

In the time between the group agreeing on Hvar and the actual event, there were many obstacles, and I was relived to find it was never too much trouble for Global Connect - they came up with a solution for everything and I always felt my event was in good hands. From delays on payments and changing numbers, to last minute notice that the original hotel choice would not be open in time! On top of this, they took it upon themselves to go to Hvar and welcome the group on arrival even though the tight budget meant they were not paid for this.

I would happily recommend anyone planning an event in Croatia to contact Global connect to run their event. They have all the right connections, a great attitude and fantastic service - keep up the good work guys!
